I started training when I joined my high school swim team for 4 years. I grew up from a family that abused drugs and alchohol, and I wanted to break the cycle. Now I am a United States Sailor trying to inspire the community around me to practice a world of fitness and great health. I consider myself a well rounded athlete when it comes to swimming, obstacle courses, 5k's, triathlons, and calasthetics. When it comes to working out, I learned you should always practice quality over quantity. Don't count the reps, just make those reps count. Find your inspiration, and never forget why you wanted to start. Rome wasn't built in a day, so keep training. Results will come with time, patience, and determination.
