How to Maintain Your Strength Skill Level During a Fat Burning Program


Gamers that are new to heavy resistance training and structured programming are primed to level up their Strength & Muscle because of adaptation from the new training stimulus. 🆙

As Gamers grow in experience level, the process of growth slows down and it requires even more work just to achieve a fraction of the progress…🐌

Quite often as Masteries (Goals) change, results that were achieved previously diminish simply because what was done previously to achieve the results is no longer being done.

For example, someone who was in a Muscle Building Program that was training heavy STOPS because they changed their Mastery to Fat Burning.

I’ve been guilty of doing this same thing in the past and my Strength skill (specifically in my Bench Press) would significantly decrease as I progress further into my Fat Burning Program… 🥲

But, as you can see in the video 🎥👆, I was able hit 285 Ibs on Bench Press 12-Weeks into my Fat Burning Program which was what I was doing at the peak of my Muscle Building Program!

This is a 60 Ib increase compared to the last time I was 12-Weeks into my Fat Burning Program 🔥

How did I do it and how can you accomplish the same feat? Simple…

COMBAT, ALCHEMY, and INTELLECT Programming!

Intellect 🧠 (or your Mental Skills) will define whether or not you maintain your Strength and Performance because if you believe you can’t, then you won’t do the right things that will allow you to maintain it.

Alchemy 🥗 (or your Nutritional Skills) will control your fuel and recovery. Without optimizing both of these areas then you simply won’t be able to perform at your strongest and recover properly from your performance.

Combat 💪 (or your Physical Skills) will determine how you train. If you don’t have heavy strength-based movements in your program like you had in your Strength or Muscle Building Program, then your will become de-conditioned from that type of training.

When you follow the right program that incorporates all 3 of these areas, formulates a strategy around Strength, and designs it in a way that compliments the new primary training goals, then you can successfully maintain your Strength Level! ✅
