Gamers on their Infitnite Warrior Adventure must develop their Core, Stability, and Conditioning for injury prevention, posture, performance, and of course aesthetics.

Here’s what each of these 3 areas are, how they work, and how you can improve them:

CORE

The core is made up of multiple muscle groups:

  • Rectus Abdominis - layer of the muscles known as the “six pack” in control of trunk flexion and stability of the pelvis & spine.

  • Internal & External Obliques - middle layer of abdominals in control of trunk rotation.

  • Transverse Abdominis - deepest layer of the abdominals that acts as a belt for spinal stabilization.

  • Multifudus - muscles that run between vertebrae for spinal extension and rotation.

  • Gluteus Maximus/Medius and Minimus - hip muscles located on your butt for spine and hip stabilization.

  • Pelvic Floor Stabilizers - internal pelvic muscle in control of the bladder

  • Scapular Stabilizers - layer of muscles know as the rotator cuff in control of shoulder movement

Lifting and carrying heavy objects while standing or walking is a great way to train the muscle groups of your Core.

STABILITY

Without the core, we don’t have stability, and without stability, we are at the risk of severe injury.

Dysfunction or weakness in the core (which has a great effect on your posture) is the primary cause of injury.

If Gamers want to strengthen their body and prevent injury, then one of the best ways to train stability is by performing the Loaded Carry.

They can progressively challenge their body during Warrior Combat Training with Loaded Carries. All they need to do is follow a Movement Pattern Progression based on current physical skills, and by appropriately increasing the amount of resistance used during training.

CONDITIONING

Conditioning is simply the body’s ability to create energy, and how efficiently it uses that energy.

Depending on exercise duration, and the resistance used, the Loaded Carry can improve Anaerobic and Aerobic Conditioning.

The Aerobic system provides the energy for performance/recovery from physical activity lasting longer than 60 seconds no matter what the intensity level is and for everyday life.

The Anaerobic system provides the energy for performance/recovery from physical activity with high levels of force and power lasting up to 30 seconds.
