I met Walt almost two years ago at the gym when I was a beginner at weightlifting. He saw me continuously trying to replicate insta fit model workouts and fit in as much cardio into my sessions, and he told me he could help get me to my goals (growing my glutes, pull-ups, pistol squats) much faster if I started training with him. I was skeptical at first, thinking he was just after new clients, but he was so persistent (if there’s anything I can say about Walt, he is extremely persistent!), but I decided to give it a try. Two years later, and my outlook on fitness, training, food and my body have changed completely because I trained with him.

Not only is Walt persistent and patient, he has extensive knowledge and his main goal is to share that knowledge with his clients to help them reach their goals and become the best versions of themselves. Every session he listened to my goals, assessed my progress, answered a ton of questions and tweaked my program to get me exactly where I wanted to go. He taught me how to do all of the basics (squatting, deadlifting, hip thrusts, bench press) the right way and showed me countless other movements and workout structures to keep my workouts engaging and interesting. He also encouraged me to EAT, and as I slowly increased my calorie intake, I started to see exponential muscle growth and strength improvement that I had never experienced before. I’m eating almost double what I used to (which is SO fun by the way) when I first started training with him, and I’ve never been in better shape.

Walt is not only persistent and knowledgeable, but he truly cares about his clients and their progress. Halfway through my training with him, I sustained a knee injury that meant I couldn’t train legs for months. When I was cleared to train again, he helped me work my way back up to the strength levels I had reached prior to the injury, showing me exactly how to build strength back safely to prevent further injury. During that time, he helped me switch gears to train my upper body and I was able to do unassisted pull-ups for the first time.

There are so many reasons to train with Walt- if you’re new and not super knowledgeable, or even if you really know what you’re doing but are looking for someone to challenge you and push you to the next level, he’s worth it.
